You can now apply to learn directly of one of the internet's veterans in music education.
Gjermund Sivertsen have been teaching since he was a child and teaching piano live and online for 25 years.
Q1: Who is qualified to apply?
A: There are only three criteria:
1. You are willing to practice at least 1 hour per day.
2. You can benefit from having lessons with Gjermund.
Q2: How often are the lessons?
A: Once per week or once per 14 days.
Q3: What is the price per lesson?
A: The lessons are just $497 for four classes, including lifetime access to the recordings of the lessons. The first time you get the package, you will also get a free 30-minute consultation with Gjermund. That's where you'll get to know each other, speak about your goals, and do brief sound checks, so you don't waste time on that in the lessons.
Q4: How long are the lessons?
A: We estimate spending about 45 minutes to 1 hour per lesson. That includes communication, editing/publishing, finding assignments, and, of course, the Zoom call itself (which usually will be about 30 minutes each time, which is more than enough to catch up, go through the material, and review your progress).
Q5: What is the signup process?
A:
Q6: What happens if I miss a lesson? Will it be moved around/delayed?
A: All the lessons are sold as packages (4 lessons each time.) If you miss lesson 2 of 4, there won't be a way to push that lesson forward. However: If you know you will be away one of four Mondays, Gjermund can still give you feedback/update based on what you agree on. (He dedicates the time you agree on to you only.)
Q7: What happens after the four first lessons?
A: If both parties are interested in you continuing, you can get another package of four lessons. You are good to go as long as you see results and practice as much as you agree. You will get the top priority as long as you stay student. 🎹😀
Q8: How does the replay/recording work?
A: As a private student with Gjermund, you will get a personal page on our membership site. It is a page only you can access. Here, you can watch the replays for the private lessons, and Gjermund can put recordings here, assignments, and so on.
Q9: Do I have to be a Jazz Piano Step-by-Step Course student?
A: No. But if you're already a student, getting the extra motivation and support from Gjermund can still be beneficial.
Q10: When can I expect an answer when I apply now?
A: As soon as possible. We will let you know if you get accepted or if you will be on the waiting list. If none of the available times fit your schedule, let us know which time could be available, and then we will try to accommodate you when your spots become available.
